Spotted at International Quilt Market – Valori Wells’ Del Hi Collection for FreeSpirit

We’re still at International Quilt Market, and today’s find is the beautiful new fabric collection by Valori Wells for FreeSpirit, Del Hi. You can see the sample wall that Valori created in her booth in the above photo–and it seems that the collection would appeal to quilters and sewers of different tastes, creating very different projects. Valori created several different projects using Del Hi, including these charming throw pillows.

The soft colors, combined with bold graphics are also well-suited for quilting, and Valori had a lovely version of the quilt below hanging in the booth.

You can already download a free quilt pattern for the quilt above from FreeSpirit’s website. While you’re at it, check out the entire Del Hi line. It was just released this month, so look for it in your favorite independent quilt and fabric shops soon.
