Free Pattern – Animal Junction from Robert Kaufman/Quilts for Kids

AnimalJunctionEarthWEB

This is a brand new free quilt pattern from Robert Kaufman, and it couldn’t be more adorable. The Animal Junction quilt is designed with three different colorways–one in boyish blue, another in girly pink and this one (my favorite), an earthy green. It’s a very cute pattern–and I think it would be perfect for a first “big kid” bed. Get your free copy of this pattern (a PDF download) from Robert Kaufman right here.

The Animal Junction quilt features fabrics from the new collection Animal Party, designed by Amy Schimler in partnership with the charitable organization Quilts for Kids. It is a new collection for August, and is definitely something any kid would love. Check it out in the slideshow below, look for Animal Party in your favorite independent quilt shop or fabric store and make sure to spend some time on the Quilts for Kids website, where you can learn how you can get involved in their inspiring work.

I think this is a blessing in disguise for all quilters who have scraps. Kids would love to have Scap Happy Quilts. I will inform all my quilting friends about this!

  2. Too cute. I have a friend having a boy with a Jungle Themed nursery. She would just love this.
