Featured Apron Pattern – Afternoon Tea from Indygo Junction

As you know, we’re celebrating aprons the entire month of November. Here’s a great apron pattern from Indygo Junction, Afternoon Tea.  I love that this design is not only flattering with the waistband details, it’s also functional, as it provides good coverage for “full contact” cooking.

You could make this pattern in any fabric, really. But, for National Tie One On Day, wouldn’t a kitchen-themed print be sweet? One of my favorites is Lizzy House’s Lizzy Dish for Andover. I love how warm the colors are, which is unusual in a kitchen-themed print. Check it out in the slideshow below, and look for both the fabric and pattern in your favorite independent quilt shop of fabric store.
