Since today’s Thanksgiving, and most of us in the U.S. will be gathering around a table with friends and family, I thought it would be appropriate to highlight a table runner for today’s featured pattern. This is Busy Bee Quilts’ Pearl District Table Runner. I love how this design allows you to combine many fabrics to create a totally unique look. Depending on your fabric choice, and how you combine colors and designs, this can look contemporary or traditional.
The designer says that bold batiks, trendy moderns or country charmers all look great in the Pearl District. I’d love to see this pattern made in a pretty mix of batiks, such as Robert Kaufman’s Chop Chop by Lunn Studios. Check it out in the slideshow below, and look for both this fabric and pattern in your favorite independent quilt shop or fabric store.
